This fully bolted route climbs excellent rock to the left of “Wheat Kings”. Start 5m left of the base of “Wheat Kings” at easy ground leading up to a dead tree with three forks. 1. 15m 5.3, 3 bolts Climb up beside the dead forked tree (bolt) then continue up past two more bolts to a two-bolt station on a ledge by a tree. 2. 30m 5.6, 7 bolts Step right and climb excellent rock past 7 bolts to a bolted belay ledge above a shrub. 3. 33m 5.8, 9 bolts Climb easy rock past a bolt to the base of a leaning left facing corner. Climb well protected crux moves past three bolts to moderate 5.7 climbing past five more bolts to belay on a ledge above the left facing corner. From the top of the route, either rappel (70 m rope recommended) or traverse up and right around an arete to join pitch 3 of “Wheat Kings” (10m, 5.4 2 bolts) and continue up that route. Bring 9 draws, 2 of those alpine.
